FAQ

Q1. Will the mower cross into my neighbor’s lawn?

A1. Raccoon 2 SE uses visual recognition to distinguish lawn and non-lawn areas.
For open lawns without clear physical boundaries (such as shared grass areas), we recommend using optional boundary pins.
These pins are placed directly on the ground at 40 cm intervals to create a simple boundary — no wires, no installation, no setup required.

Q2. When will the Raccoon 2SE Pre-order start?

A2. We expect to launch the Raccoon 2SE Pre-order in February. You can sign up with your email to stay updated, and we’ll send you exclusive updates, pre-order reminders, and special launch offers.

Q3. What’s the maximum grass height it can cut?

A3. It handles typical residential lawn heights with ease and performs best on grass up to 3.15 inches, while still navigating grass as tall as 4.7 inches.

Q4. What’s the steepest slope it can manage?

A4. Raccoon 2 SE tackles slopes up to 36% (20°), making it reliable even in uneven or slightly hilly gardens.

Q5. Does the Raccoon 2 SE robot lawn mower always mow in straight lines?

A5. Raccoon mows in random patterns for full coverage. However, for flat areas under 80m² (861 sq. ft.), you can enable parallel mowing through the Target Area feature to achieve clean, straight lines.

Q6. Can Raccoon 2 SE handle multiple lawn zones?

A6. Yes! It can manage up to three separate zones, even if they’re divided by stone paths or driveways.

Q7. The controls feel sensitive, can I adjust them?

A7. Absolutely. You can fine-tune the manual mapping speed in settings for smoother remote operation.

Q8. How long does the battery last, and how fast does it charge?

A8. The Raccoon 2 SE has a powerful built-in 5A battery, which fully charges in just 70-minutes and runs for up to 150-minutes on a single charge.

Q9. Is shipping free, and when will my order arrive?

A9. For orders over 99 €, we offer free EU shipping. Orders are expected to ship around mid-March.

Q10. Who should I contact if I have questions?

A10. For assistance, please contact support@iroboup.com.
